Composite veneers are used to treat multiple cosmetic dental issues, including things like stained teeth, crooked teeth, fixing chipped or cracked teeth or to fill in gaps between existing teeth. They are carried out in one visit and rarely require the removal of any tooth tissue
Ceramic veneers are a thin moulding, custom-made from porcelain/ceramic, which is bonded to the front surface of a tooth. They require removal of tooth tissue in most cases and are therefore irreversible unlike composite veneers. However in certain clinical situations they can be the better option.
