A dental bridge is a false tooth/teeth (called a pontic/s) that is/are held in place by another tooth or teeth (abutment/s).
The two most common types are:
Resin bonded (Maryland) - the Pontic has a “wing” attached to it which is “glued” to the abutment
Traditional - this involves crowning the abutment tooth/teeth.
